Hi, I'm Fred 👋
I help businesses transform their operations through expert Airtable solutions and automation. My experience spans Fortune 500 companies to scrappy startups. With years of experience in Product Mgmt & Engineering, I breakdown complex challenges into straightforward Airtable systems.

About Me
I've been an Airtable nerd since 2019, when I needed to build a system for my manufacturing & ecommerce business that could both handle the complexity of just-in-time manufacturing and be simple enough for my non-technical team to use. Airtable was the answer to my prayers back then and it has relentlessly improved since.
I started my career in Product Management and have gradually moved into engineering because that's what I'm drawn to - and it's never been easier to actually build than it is now. Now I divide my time building my own business and I allocate about 15 hours a week to Airtable consulting.
My Current Work
My clients are confidential but I can make introductions on request.
Enterprise Marketing Finance System for Global Tech Leader
Developed a comprehensive marketing finance system for a Fortune 500 technology company's North American marketing division. This system serves as the central hub for:
- •Budget management used by managers through C-suite executives
- •Partner alliance tracking for co-marketing ventures
- •Campaign and vendor planning workflows
- •Compliance documentation for marketing fund eligibility
- •Integration development with enterprise planning tools including Anaplan
Global Marketing Coordination Platform for Design Software Leader
Built a unified marketing coordination system for a worldwide leader in design software, serving as a single source of truth for their global marketing function. Key features include:
- •Centralized initiative and campaign tracking across regions
- •Geographic deployment coordination
- •Objective alignment across teams
- •Activity tracking and resource allocation
- •Integration of worldwide marketing plans into a cohesive strategy
My Methodology
These are the things I think are most important.
Start Quickly
Only when you start building does the true shape of the problem start to appear. Airtable isn't a tool for painstaking Gantt charts and 'stakeholder alignment calls'. Just build and iterate fast.
Eliminate
Projects tend towards requirements bloat over time and it slows down what matters. Do we need a 4 tier email notification system right off the blocks? Or is that just going to get in the way of what we're actually trying to achieve?
Simplify
Complexity can be a necessary step on the way to simplicity, but the thing is only good once it's simple.
Rapid Cycle Time
If we work together, we'll be using Slack for asynchronous communication. The point of building fast is to get real (not imaginary) feedback as fast as possible.
